Development of volonter.org platform

Goodness. Mutual aid. Support. Humanity… Volunteering… it’s likely just words. But there’s so much warmth and sincerity essential for everyone in them!

From day to day we see people who struggle to help others. They organize meetings, holidays, fund collections, actions in support of patients, etc. These great people are volunteers. People who help. And who will help them?

The developers of our company have the great honor to develop a volunteer platform – a multifunction resource that will become a mediator between the founders of volunteer movement and people who also want to help.

Our agency development team was very diligent and thorough setting to creation of such an important project. After all it’s the first volunteer resource that provides such a service to the volunteer movement, which makes possible registration as oncoming volunteers, as well as organizations or philanthropist who want to join the support process.

What you need to know about working with Volonter.org

By registering, you choose for yourself the role of a volunteer, a public organization or a public activist.

Volunteer is a person outside the community, but wants / can engage with his knowledge and time to help with a particular project. On the site you are looking for whom you would like to help and communicate with him. Click "join" and chat with the organizers.

You can select projects by region or topic. Sign up for updates and always stay in touch when your help is needed. Subsequently, the rating will run on the site - in accordance with the amount of quality assistance you provided.

Activist and public organizations create their own events / projects, join existing ones. Describe the project itself / the idea of ​​the project - who and for what is needed for its implementation: a designer or copywriter, a photographer, etc.

It's best to be active - tell what you are doing what you have already done, what you are planning to do. Keep up to date with your activities - this will help volunteers better understand you, and therefore attract more support and help. For communication you will have a special chat with users of the platform who are interested in your project.

The status of a volunteer gives you the opportunity to create projects independently. To do this, go to your own account, select the "my projects" tab and click "create new project". Conversely, public activists or community organizations can also join other volunteer projects.

Basic platform functionality

• news, where you can get acquainted with the latest events, which highlight the activities of volunteers from all over the country
• projects currently relevant and in which the organization encourages participation. Whereas they are divided into categories by life spheres: "Veterans", "Migrants ", "Children", "Animal protection ", etc.
• the list of participants in volunteering divided into categories "Geography", " Volunteer/Organization"
• website logging capability, personal account creation with subsequent option to communicate with other users of the website in the portal chat
• feedback option that allows the user directly to ask facilitators any question of interest
